I must
admit I’m really excited this week. After months of preparations, the 2016 ITU
World Triathlon Series (WTS) will commence with a star-studded field this
Saturday in Abu Dhabi as some of the world’s most prestigious athletes line up
to jump start the most anticipated triathlon season that will lead up to the
Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games.
I would
like to thank the Abu Dhabi Sport Council for hosting us this weekend for the
start of the Road to Rio season. We work very hard with athletes, coaches and
officials to create a program that will work to fit inside athletes training
plans for the Olympics and Abu Dhabi is the best possible start this year.
I’m sure
it’s going to be a great season, that’s for granted, with all the top
triathletes, male and female, trying their best to get their chance of becoming
an Olympic champion. Only a few of our athletes have already qualified for Rio,
so most of them will be trying to grab points on the WTS events, starting this
Saturday.
Is also
great to come back to Abu Dhabi, a great circuit that opened the 2015 season
last year as the only Middle Eastern city to ever host a WTS event. This year
the modern city will see a standard-stance course contested with the top-ranked
men and women out to earn the first WTS points of the year.
You can of course follow our
races on the local TV stations that will air the races, but if you don’t want
to miss any of the action and do have access to internet, we’ve got a plan for
you. Sign up for the Triathlon Live all-access membership, which will allow you
unlimited
access to all live & on-demand racing plus over 230 hours of archived
races, interviews, magazine shows, and special features. And only for 19.99
euros for the whole season.

¡Empieza la acción!
Tengo que admitir
que esta semana estoy muy emocionada. Después de meses de preparación, las ITU
2016 World Triathlon Series (WTS) arrancan este
Me gustaría
magazines, etc. Y sólo por 19.99 euros el pase anual.
